About

The St. Anthony’s Parish community is proud to have been a part of Lloydminster since 1909. Our first church was built in 1910, and, with the growth and change in Lloydminster, it has been necessary to build new churches twice since then.  The second church opened in August 1949,

and the first Mass in our current building was celebrated on April 12, 1987.

Lloydminster, located on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border, finds expression in both provinces. Our parish is a member of the Archdiocese of Edmonton in Alberta in agreement with the diocese of Prince Albert in Saskatchewan. The Lloydminster Catholic School Division is a part of the Saskatchewan school system. We are proud to enjoy a blessed relationship with the school division.

Our parish celebrates four Masses each weekend. Saturday evening Mass is at 5:00pm. Sunday evening Mass at 7:00 pm has youth participating in the various lay ministries. Our Sunday 9:00am and 11:00am Masses offer children’s liturgy during Mass and coffee and juice hospitality after Mass.

A visitor to our parish would be happy to see many children, youth, adults and grandparents celebrating Mass together. We have over 1500 families registered as part of our faith community. It is a comfortable place for people of all ages.

Our parish reaches out to the city of Lloydminster and surrounding community through our 5loaves2fish outreach ministry, our food booth at the city fair, our fall supper, our summer camp and our close friendship with St. Joseph’s mission. Please feel welcome to join us at any of our Masses or call our office if you would like more information about our parish.
